A Messi shot at the Villarreal goal on Sunday went beyond the goal post and broke a spectator’s wrist, resulting in a 2-2 draw.
Russia Today reports:
The current Ballon d’Or holder fired a shot at goal in the 15th minute of the La Liga clash, but it flew over the bar and struck a member of the El Madrigal crowd.

The lady, named Raquel, was pictured in agony after copping the blow, and needed the help of stewards as she almost fainted while heading for medical assistance.
Spanish television later caught up with her and revealed that she was in fact a Real Madrid fan. She appeared in good spirits despite her injury.
