
Multiple gunshots were fired from a passing car near the home of US Vice President Joe Biden in Delaware on Saturday night, the US Secret Service said.
The shots were fired on a public road several hundred yards from Biden’s residence in Wilmington, Delaware, Secret Service spokesman Robert Hoback said Sunday.

Police in New Castle County, Delaware, said there were no reports of any injuries related to the shooting.
Biden and his wife, Jill, were in Delaware during the shooting but were not home, the Secret Service said.
Biden, 72, who served as a Democratic US senator from Delaware for over 30 years, has homes in Wilmington and in Washington, DC.
