
Multiple reports on social media of a shooting on Saturday afternoon at a shopping mall in Raleigh, North Carolina, has forced police to lockdown the area.
In an updated statement, Raleigh police have confirmed that no suspects had been arrested and no one injured with gunshot wounds had been located.

Officials at Crabtree Valley Mall in Raleigh gave no reason why the building was placed on lockdown, ABC 11 reports.

Raleigh police have confirmed the shooting and say they are working to secure the situation.
Police were called to the mall at about 2:45 p.m. They say no one is allowed in or out of the mall.
They have issued an updated statement, confirming that no suspects have been arrested and no one injured with gunshot wounds has been located.
A video posted on Twitter by an eyewitness shows panicked scenes as people rushed out of the store.
There is a large police presence at the mall and near-by roads have been closed.
People have barricaded themselves into stores while the police are seeking to evacuate shoppers and staff from the mall.
