Grieving Mother Charged With Murdering Her Twins — Even Though Medical Records Prove Vaccine Reaction

Fact checked by The People's Voice Community

A grieving Idaho mother who begged her pediatrician to listen to her family’s medical history is now sitting in a jail cell—charged with murdering the very children she tried to protect.

Andrea Shaw, 23, was arrested Tuesday, over a year after her 18-month-old fraternal twins, Dallas and Tyson, were found unresponsive in their Payette home days after receiving the vaccine their mother warned about.

While prosecutors are pushing for two counts of first-degree murder, Shaw and her supporters are pointing to a chilling detail buried in the court records: the boys became lethargic and turned blue within hours of receiving the flu, Hepatitis A, and DTaP vaccines—shots she explicitly warned the doctor against.

Before the shots, Andrea and her mother-in-law warned the twins’ pediatrician about their family history of adverse flu vaccine reactions. They asked for caution. According to court documents, the doctor dismissed their concerns.

On April 23, 2025, nurses administered the flu, hepatitis A, and DTaP vaccines to the toddlers. Within hours, the boys became lethargic and ill. The next morning, their lips were blue. They struggled to move.

Andrea rushed them to the ER and told the doctor about the vaccines. The physician documented his findings: “Post-immunisation reaction, initial encounter.”

Eight Days Later, They Were Gone

The twins remained sick for days. On May 1, 2025, Andrea found both boys unresponsive in their Payette home. Police arrived and immediately treated the parents as suspects.

“They said that it wasn’t medical and that they figured asphyxiation, and that I had supposedly had a postpartum overwhelming blackout and done it to my children,” Andrea told CHD.TV.

The family filed a VAERS report on the vaccine reaction. Police opened a criminal investigation into Andrea instead.

Arrested While Nursing a Newborn

More than a year later, police arrested Shaw on Tuesday. The department cited a “lengthy and thorough investigation” but offered no evidence, saying only that details would come through the judicial process.

Adding to the tragedy: Andrea gave birth to a premature baby girl on June 25—just weeks before her arrest. Her husband is now caring for their newborn alone.

Andrea Shaw attends a court hearing remotely via video on 2 July at the Payette county district court in Payette, Idaho.

A Nurse Speaks Out

Angela Wulbrecht, a nurse and vaccine-injury advocate supporting the family, told The Defender she was “shocked and heartbroken” by the arrest.

“I have witnessed a mother’s profound grief, unwavering love for her children and determination to seek answers,” Wulbrecht said.

What’s at Stake

Shaw’s defense is clear: the ER doctor diagnosed a vaccine reaction. She reported it to VAERS. She has maintained her innocence from day one.

But now she’s fighting for her freedom—while the system that ignored her warnings prepares to put her behind bars.

For parents watching this case unfold, the question is chilling: If a mother can be charged with murder after a documented vaccine reaction, is any parent safe?
