The Peadaphile didgeridoo player was stripped of his CBE- Commander of the British Empire- today by The Queen, in an official announcement in the London Gazette.

The London Gazette stated : “The Queen has directed that the appointment of Rolf Harris to be a Commander of the Civil Division of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, dated 17 June 2006, shall be cancelled and annulled and that his name shall be erased from the Register of the said Order.”

The Disgraced children’s T.V presenter is currently serving time in Stafford prison for his crimes against children. He was sentenced to 69 months in prison last year . He was stripped of his other Honours earlier.

The ex-children’s entertainer, 84, was was found guilty of a string of indecent assaults, including one against an eight-year-old girl.

His daughter’s childhood friend was also abused by the star from the age of 13.

A decision to revoke his CBE was approved by the Queen, according to an official announcement in the London Gazette today.

Harris was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in 1968 and was advanced to a Commander (CBE) in 2006.
