Brianna Longoria of Lancaster, California, was driving her blue Honda on Thursday afternoon with two friends as passengers.
According to a KTLA report, Longoria was traveling at speed when she failed to stop at a junction and drove into another car carrying two men.
The other vehicle, a Toyota Corolla, was knocked off the road, and both occupants were killed.
It’s not currently known why Longoria failed to observe the stop sign. Investigators says there is suggestion that she was on her phone or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
After the crash Longoria and her passengers were taken to hospital and treated for minor injuries. Her Facebook message was posted after she returned home some hours after the crash.
The names of the two men who died have not been released.
No charges have been made against Longoria.
