Christopher Spivey an internet blogger who claimed that the Lee Rigby murder was a hoax, has been found guilty of harassing the soldier’s family.
Today at Chelmsford Magistrates court, Spivey from Essex was found guilty of two counts of harassment and two counts of malicious communication against Lee Rigby’s mother, Lyn Rigby, and his sister Sara McClure.
The court heard during the two-day trial that the former tattoo artist claimed that Fusilier Rigby did not exist and family photos had been doctored.

The Mirror reported: Prosecutors say Chris Spivey made a string of outrageous claims, stating the tragic soldier’s family were involved in a conspiracy theory with M15 and even claimed Mr Rigby never existed.
He also claimed the grieving Rigby family had doctored their family pictures using Photoshop so Lee was included in them and published family members’ addresses online.
On his website yesterday Spivey warned that the case was going to have an outcome that would affect us all.
“The court case is going ahead tomorrow despite my Barrister stating in writing that I cannot get a fair trial without the witnesses there.
Apparently the judge has refused to postpone the case despite the appeal being put in to have the witnesses present… That should tell you what the outcome of this Kangaroo Court will be.”
“The bottom line is that this is an fraudulent court case and the rule of law completely ignored”
Earlier today he announced that the site along with his Facebook page were being deleted.
