Coyote Peterson Leaks Photos of ‘Bigfoot Skull’ Found in British Columbia, Warns Officials Will ‘Cover Up’ Proof

Fact checked

YouTube wildlife documentarian Coyote Peterson has posted photos of what he claims is a “Bigfoot skull” that he found in British Columbia.

Peterson broke the news on Facebook, explaining that he found “a large primate skull in British Columbia”, smuggled it through customs and TSA, and has placed the skull “in a secure location awaiting primatologist review.”

According to Peterson, he though it was a bear skull when he found it, but is now “100% sure” it is not. He also warns that he is “sure these pics will be taken down… as will probably the video by government or state park officials… but the skull is safe.”

Referred to as ‘The King of Sting,’ Peterson created his YouTube channel in 2014 and became known for his encounters with the world’s most dangerous, and often misunderstood, species. He now has over 20 million followers.

Peterson won an International Emmy Kids Award in 2015 for his online series, Breaking Trail, and since 2017, has held a Guinness World Record for the most-subscribed account dedicated to animals.

He has fronted Animal Planet’s Coyote Peterson: Brave the Wild, and has also appeared on day and night-time talk shows including Conan, and  The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

  1. again, give me a break. not a spot of mud on his poncho. his camera man and himself were walking in the woods and stumbled on this fossil poking out of a muddy creek and the camera man knew to take a step by step picture sequence of the unearthing. Please people, stop being so gullible.

    • As always our man Josey Whales is on it and exposing the scam artist! You go, Josey, keep up exposing these fraudsters.

  2. Notice that the skull is never show by itself, the jaw never shown at all. This alone is concerning considering how primate jaws differ from those of other large skilled species, the jaw tells the tale so to speak and without seeing it one must question why wasn’t it ?

Seems to me that someone just might be an attention seeker.

  3. I think it’s BS right off the bat because the photos are more about him than the skull. He also dressed mighty fine for a walk through mud. 🙂

  4. A quick Google search will reveal that the skull is more than likely that of a Gorilla with that large center skull ridge and brow ridge over large eye sockets. I found multiple pictures which look just like that one he was digging up. How deep it was found is the consideration that will have the most impact of discovering the truth, as well as the composition of the soil it was dug from. If it was deep and was that well-preserved it will give archeologist a whole new paradigm to explore. It will be interesting to hear what the Primatologist will come up with.
