News.com.au reports: The former prince and brother to King Charles was hauled off yesterday on his 66th birthday “on suspicion of misconduct in public office”.

Authorities have clarified that this arrest is unrelated to the sexual misconduct allegations that have been made against him in the past.

The investigation reportedly centres on alleged emails he sent to Jeffrey Epstein concerning his role as the UK’s trade envoy in the early 2000s.

He was released from detention later that same evening with the investigation .

On the same day, new photos of the royal were obtained by US outlet TMZ, appearing to show him playing with a very young child using a ball painted to resemble a woman’s breast.

The images, reportedly taken in 2011 at an undetermined location, show the then-Duke of York kneeling across from a young boy and rolling the ball back and forth.

In several photos, the boy appears to be playing around with the breast-themed ball while Andrew crawls on a rug nearby. Another image shows the two sitting together on a couch.

Sources claim the photos were taken inside Andrew’s Windsor residence more than 15 years ago, and they also state that Andrew was not alone with the child at the time.
