Journalist Andrew Flinchbaugh filmed a car accident, but didn’t expect to get arrested moments later for “not giving up his camera”.

After Andrew had filmed the incident an Ocean County Prosecutor’s office detective demanded that he hand over his camera.When refused he was arrested on charges of “obstruction”.

That includes pictures of federal buildings, transportation facilities, and police. Such photography is a form of public oversight over the government and is important in a free society.]
