This is apparently happening today, and was reported in an article by The International Business Times: “The Anonymous hacking collective has fueled protest movements all over the world and is currently pressing Missouri police to speed up the Mike Brown shooting investigation.

On Monday, hacking collective Anonymous called for a National Day of Rage in support of the people of Ferguson, Missouri. Peaceful protests are planned in 37 cities throughout the United States. Protests will begin at 7 p.m. EDT on Thursday evening.”
