UK to issue life sentence for cybercrime

The UK government has drafted a new legislation that will empower courts to issue life sentences for what is called serious cybercrime activities.

The Home Office insists that the new law is needed to tackle the catastrophic cyber attacks which resulted in loss of lives, serious illnesses and serious damage to national security.

If the bill becomes law, whistleblowers across the world will be exposed to a vastly increased threat of extradition and prosecution.
