Bomb Threat At Belgian Newspaper, Suspect Captured

Belgian newspaper Le Soir in Brussels had evactuated its staff  earlier today after an anonymous caller called them asking them to stop reporting on the Charlie Hebdo incident due to it “feeding the extreme right”.

Police initially evacuated the building as a precaution before capturing the caller, Thierry Carreyn, a 53 years old.

Theirry had been previously arrested in 1999 for setting off an explosive device near Belgian right wing political party Vlaams Blok, reports Le Soir.

The employees who were evacuated have returned to the office.
