
The blood from the injury which lead to the demise of Sir Winston Churchill is being offered for Auction at Duke’s Auctioneers. A Duke’s spokesperson said that they “expect there to be great interest in it. It could sell for thousands”. Mr. Churchill is considered by some Brits to be the greatest leader of all time.
In 1962 the WW2 leader was holidaying in Monte Carlo three years before his death when he fell out of his bed and fractured his hip.

While being treated in hospital student nurse Patricia Fitzgibbon asked if she could keep the small vial labelled: ‘Sir Winston S Churchill WWB9.’
Her wish was granted and now, on the 50 year anniversary of Churchill’s death, the vial of blood is available to the highest bidder.
