Exams Cancelled For Students 'Traumatized' Over Trump's Election

American college campuses are currently freaking out over the prospect of a Trump presidency.

Professors and administrators have cancelled exams and sent messages of support to students who  have been left ‘traumatized’ by the election results.

Reason reports:

A University of Michigan psychology professor delayed an exam until next week and wished students good fortune during this “tumultuous time.” Some Columbia University professors postponed midterms as well. A University of Connecticut professor excused students from attending class. And at Yale University, one professor decided to make an upcoming exam optional.

Administrators were quick to reassure students that universities offer myriad counseling options.

“This election has been unusual in that specific statements were made about various groups of people who often feel marginalized and unsafe,” wrote Northwestern University Vice President Patricia Telles-Irvin in a campuswide email. “Partisan, inflammatory statements unfortunately seem to be part of modern campaign rhetoric, but they cause real wounds. As we move beyond a divisive election, we therefore recognize the need for healing of those wounds. With this in mind, we want to extend support to those students who are experiencing difficulty at this time.”

Students, predictably, were apoplectic. Cornell University students held a “cry-in.” Loyola University and Byrn Mawr College students demanded the cancelling of classes, citing exhaustion, depression, and safety concerns, Campus Reform reported:

“A Trump election directly endangers the lives of all students at Bryn Mawr College that are people of color, lgbtqa+, non-Christian, and female,” a signee of the Bryn Mawr petition claimed. “If Trump wins, it’s not only a question of self care but personal safety.”
I don’t blame students for being really, really upset about Trump’s win. I know plenty of mentally stable, not-at-all-coddled people who were similarly upset. But they all still went in to work on Wednesday. Life goes on.

  1. maybe these students really did deserve Clinton as their president, they are stupid and spineless beyond belief, and it does not bode well for America, if this is it’s youth of today.

    • I would add a comment, but Mira, you’ve said it all. It shows how the “halls of learning” have brainwashed today’s students when half the population prefer who I view as a mass murderer and criminal to an astute businessman. Complete ignorance of the real world. Of course you do realise, do you not, that Trump is unlikely to survive for long, and Mike Pence will take over and put everything back to what it was.

      • I know one thing, the elite are now in pure panic mode, because things are not going to plan, that is why they will not tolerate Trump. I think Trump has presented some good ideas how he can make things better in America, and I think it could work, BUT the elite don’t want this. Their plan or agenda was conceived a long time back. As for Trump I do hope he does not end up like JFK. The antiTrump rallies or riots which are backed by Soros of course are already indicators of how much they want Trump out. Most of the people at these protests are young people, yet again an example of how brainwashed and stupid they must be.

  2. There is no reason for hysteria. The victory of Donald Trump – this was the masterpiece of God. (Romans 13:1) He will be a tool of God. And God will be protect him. What plan God has for the nearest future? Let me remind here a fragment of an ancient vision: “And [the king of the north] will go back (to) his land with great wealth [1945. This detail indicated that Hitler will attack also the Soviet Union and will fight to the bitter end. In the beginning there were no signs of such the ending of this war]; and his heart (will be) against the holy covenant [hostility towards Christians]; and will act [it means activity in the international arena]; and turned back to his own land [1991-1993. The collapse of the Soviet Union and the Warsaw Pact. Russian troops returned to their country]. At the appointed time [he] will return back.” (Daniel 11:28, 29a) The return of Russia in this context means the breakup of the European Union and NATO. Many countries of the former Eastern block reconciled with Russia. Such is the plan of God. It is no coincidence that Barack Obama wins presidency in 2008 and 2012. God in this way has secured us against a premature world war. The first should be the return of Russia, and then the war, and not vice versa. (Daniel 11:29,30; Matthew 24:7; Revelation 6:4; cf. Jeremiah 1:12) The victory Hillary Clinton would very accelerate a nuclear war, therefore now Donald Trump wins presidency. There is hope for improvement in Russian-American relations. The world will be safer, at least for a moment.

In 1882 British troops occupied Egypt. Great Britain then took the role of “the king of the south”. Around the same time, Russia expanded its influence in the region, which previously belonged to Seleucus I Nicator, and took the role of “the king of the north”. (Daniel 11:27)

All the details of this vision are being fulfilled from the time of ancient Persia, in chronological order. It is true that this vision is variously interpreted. As one can see, it has a lot of details. Therefore the insightful person is able to detect any error or sophistry. (Daniel 12:10)

  3. What a batch of NINNY’s. People….whoever made the power calls to these colleges should be whipped. $$$KaChing*`
NO ONE DIED. You are making CRY BABIES out of these morons. ….geezzzz…..!
    This was an election.
Put these little one’s in a time out and let the GROWN UPS deal with the real world!
    Together WE stand!
