
ISIS say they have shot down a US military plane in the western part of Anbar province in Iraq.
The terrorist group also claim that the pilot and crew members aboard the plane are dead.

The military jet was reportedly operating near Ain Al-Asad air base which is run jointly by Iraq and the US.
The reports have been denied by the US Central Command who say there is no evidence that a warplane had been downed.

US forces have been attempting to stabilize the province as part of Operation Inherent Resolve and have been conducted approximately 73 airstrikes in Iraq in the last week.
The claim by ISIS came just hours after the terror group claimed responsibility for an attack in Ansbach, Germany.
