A New York City judge has allowed a transgender illegal alien to walk free despite pleading guilty to raping a 14-year-old boy in a public bathroom on Feb. 11, 2025, in East Harlem.
Nicol Alexandra Contreras-Suarez, a 30-year-old man pretending to be a woman, followed a 14-year-old boy into a bodega bathroom and proceeded to sexually assault the child, as reported at the time.
The victim alerted bystanders after the ambush and Contreras-Suarez was arrested at a nearby location the following day.

Despite pleading guilty to raping the child, Contreras-Suarezwill set free by local authorities in the coming weeks after receiving a “sweetheart plea deal,” according to reports.

“The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office said the resolution was reached in close consultation with the victim’s family, sparing the teenager from having to testify to both the grand jury and over several days at trial,” the New York Post reported this week.
Authorities discovered Contreras-Suarez was wanted in sanctuary Massachusetts for armed robbery, prostitution, and assault with a dangerous weapon.
Contreras-Suarez recently pleaded guilty to second-degree rape in Manhattan Supreme Court but will be sentenced in April to just six months behind bars, which he has already served.
A spokesperson for the DA’s office claims they “expect the defendant to remain detained and be deported following sentencing, due to the felony conviction,” although it remains unclear if officials in the notorious sanctuary city will honor an Immigration and Customs Enforcement detainer lodged against Contreras-Suarez.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection arrested Contreras-Suarez for illegally entering the U.S. in San Ysidro, California, in March 2023, and then set him free in the interior.
“This creep should’ve never been released into our country,” stated former DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin at the time of Contreras-Suarez’s arrest.
“Thanks to the failed sanctuary policies and Biden’s open-border agenda, this serial criminal was freed to prey on innocent American children – but that ends now. ICE will not allow predators like Contreras-Suarez to terrorize American citizens.”
