Obama Calls For Sweeping Internet Censorship Of Conservative Voices

Fact checked by The People's Voice Community
Obama used his off-the-record speech at MIT to call for the Internet to be censored and purged of opposing voices to his globalist agenda.

While Obama told the world he was talking about “basketball” during his top-secret, off-the-record speech at MIT on Friday, he was actually calling for the Internet to be censored and purged of opposing voices to his globalist agenda.

The speech was kept completely secret by virtually all attendees, who had to agree that they would not record, photograph, tweet, or report on the event before being granted a seat in the audience.

However, someone secretly recorded the speech and gave a copy to Reason Magazine.

The leaked audio proves Obama used the sports event as cover to deliver an Orwellian speech to faithful liberal journalists and social media executives, ordering them to do everything in their power to take away the First Amendment rights of conservatives on the internet.

Here’s some of the highlights from Reason:

Obama thinks Google, Facebook, etc., are “a public good as well as a commercial enterprise,” and should consider whether they are corroding our democracy.

From this position, Obama began building his argument for mass censorship of dissenting voices on social media.

“What’s also true is that our social media platforms are just a tool,” he said. “ISIS can use that tool. Neo-Nazis can use that tool. I do think the large platforms—Google and Facebook being the most obvious, Twitter and others as well, are part of that ecosystem—have to have a conversation about their business model that recognizes they are a public good as well as a commercial enterprise. They’re not just an invisible platform, they’re shaping our culture in powerful ways.”

Much of that shaping is bad, according to Obama. Having real people sharing information with each other without the control of mainstream media is bad, he says.

“Essentially we now have entirely different realities that are being created with not just different opinions, but now different facts,” he said. “And this isn’t just by the way Russian inspired bots and fake news. This is Fox News vs. The New York Times editorial page. If you look at these different sources of information, they do not describe the same thing. In some cases, they don’t even talk about the same thing. And so it is very difficult to figure out how democracy works over the long term in those circumstances.”

Shutting down people you disagree with is about as un-American as you can get. Rigorous debate, honest discussion, and open exchange of ideas – that’s the American way. It is no surprise Obama, the globalist who is spreading his ideology during top-secret “off-the-record” speeches, doesn’t see things this way.

Obama said jump and YouTube said “how high?

YouTube has already begun the mass cull of conservative and anti-globalist voices on it’s platform, proving Obama still wields enormous power with faithful liberal media outlets.

The Southern Poverty Law Center, a highly politicized far-left association, and the ADL have been recruited by Google to police content on YouTube. Operating with the remit of removing extremist content (such as ISIS and Neo-Nazis, as mentioned by Obama), YouTube has predictably gone too far, removing any content creators who do not agree with mainstream media positions.

Obama is right in saying there are two different worlds now. For the first time ever the MSM has lost it’s stranglehold on the news and its ability to control the debate. But Obama’s claim that this is a problem and that democracy is under threat is a chilling, deceptive ideology, straight out of Orwell’s 1984.

The “great divide” now exists because people have started getting real, uncensored news on the internet and having open discussions about real issues like immigration and America’s previously inexorable drive towards globalism. Mainstream media has the ability to control the narrative and suppress dissent.
