It looks like Canada wants to be at the forefront of the bug eating trend.

A Canadian company called the Aspire Food Group says it plants to produce 9000 tons of insects per year for human and pet consumption after completing construction of the world’s largest cricket food processing facility.

They say they aim to produce around two billion crickets every year.

Summit news reorts: A report from Canadian Manufacturing states that “Crickets are currently being explored as a protein-rich superfood. They contain fibre and are already found in grocery stores and restaurants, and have a smaller environmental footprint than traditional protein sources.”

Yum.

The move is the latest in a growing trend of pushing bug eating on the masses as a way of saving the planet.

In addition to crickets, worms and maggots are big in Europe.

  1. It’s no more ridiculous than eating calfs and lamb s.. It’s sensible really And cows should just be farmed for milk and dairy and sheep for wool. In fact there’s so many optional ways to derive protein that they shouldn’t even be needing to farm insects either.

  2. These folks that say eating bugs is fine, go ahead and replace your hamburger with them. Just don’t expect sane ppl to eat that shite. Kill one cow, feed many, kill many bugs, feed one. Who is saving the earth?

  3. The elites have no intention to eat bugs. That’s just for the slaves. They will continue to eat filet mignon and caviar.

  4. It’s ok, they’ll legalize marijuana across the board and it will be delicious, sheeple…

  5. Feed the bugs to all the deep state cabal creeps who are arrested along with all the poisoned food & beverages they’ve been producing for humanity.
