Dozens of people including children were seriously injured in two separate lightning strikes in Germany and France.
In France eight children and three adults were hit by lightening on Saturday afternoon, according to the fire service.

Six were severely injured in the horror accident during a violent thunderstorm.
They were at a child’s birthday party in Parc Monceau in north-west Paris.
Police said a medical unit was set up on site to treat the victims with “absolutely urgency”.
And elsewhere fierce lightening bolts have struck at a children’s football match in Germany, hurting 35 people.
Emergency services have rushed to the scene in Hoppstädten in the west of the country.
The referee of the game was hit directly by the strike and was among several rushed to hospital.
