Edward Snowden’s HBO Interview: NSA Surveillance, What Can They Do?

Host of Last Week Tonight, John Oliver, visited Russia to get an exclusive interview with Edward Snowden.

In what some are calling Snowden’s toughest interview to date he discusses the impact of US government surveillance on the American people and warns what the NSA is capable of and the lengths they will go to achieve their goals.

He also admits that the exposure of sensitive classified documents to journalists is a big risk, but still a risk he thinks is worth taking. He says, “The only time you can be free from risk is when you are prison.”
