Family of murdered DNC staffer Seth Rich demand answers

Family members of murdered DNC staffer Seth Rich have asked the public to help them find their son’s killer, four weeks into a failed police investigation.

Seth Rich, 27, died in July from after being shot near his home in Washington D.C. shortly after he blew the whistle on election fraud within the Democratic Party.

Dailycaller.com reports:

Officers with the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) joined the family of Seth Rich, 27, who died July 10 from gunshot wounds walking to his home in northwest D.C., in a press conference Thursday. The Rich family requested that people come forward with any information that may lead to an arrest of the killer, reports WJLA.

Rich was on the phone with his girlfriend when the assailant attacked him.

“I ask you please if you know anything, heard anything, just come forward and talk to the police … particularly if you know of anyone that looked like they’d been in a fight,” Mary Rich, Seth’s mother, said at the press conference. “Let’s get this person off the street. And therefore my son can rest in peace, and your neighborhood can be safer.”

Rich, a resident from northwest D.C., was the voter expansion data director for the DNC and served there for more than two years. Officers on patrol with the MPD responded July 10 at 4:19 a.m. to sounds of gunfire  in Bloomingdales on the 2100 block of Flagler Place. Police found Rich conscious and breathing with multiple gunshot wounds.

Authorities transported Rich to a local hospital where he died from his injuries. Police do not have proof of a motive but believe it may have stemmed from a botched robbery attempt.

“Right now we have more questions than we have answers,” Police Chief Cathy Lanier said at the press conference.

Out of 75 homicides in the District so far this year, 40 still remained unsolved. For any homicide occurring in the District, police offer a reward of $25,000 for information leading to the arrest or prosecution of a perpetrator.

  1. Sadly, all signs point to him being the man who knew too much.
In street lingo, this is called a “conspiracy theory”.
In law enforcement lingo, it’s called “speculation”.
    Speculation is worthy of investigation.

    • Just come up with more money than the killer got for offing him and they will talk like crazy. ….. Everyone knows WHY he got killed so should be easy for a PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR TO FIIND OUT WHO!!!

  2. This is what happens when you associate with criminals. He knew their character and chose to continue in their company for a PAYCHECK.

It is impossible for a man to see the truth, when his PAYCHECK depends upon him believing the LIE.

    NO SYMPATHY HERE.

  3. I see the incident as one-of-opportunity (robbery gone bad) an assassin would not shoot to fatally wound the victim instead of a very terminal headshot… wrong place at wrong time NO conspiracy theory here

    • “An assassin would not shoot to fatally wound the victim instead of a very terminal headshot..”  wtf are you talking about??
And YES, there is a conspiracy here…it was reported that he uncovered election fraud in the Democratic party during an election year with a Democratic frontrunner.  But since you can’t even articulate anything, why would you even notice this?

  4. With the democrats today the only victims are supposedly Black Lies Matter and Islam, Gays, Illegal immigrants when in fact they are the ones committing murder almost on a daily basis. If you oppose these groups well your just a racist.

  5. bothced robbery attempt where his expensive watch, and wallet were still with his body…. Conspiracy theories and 5 people killed in as many weeks mmmmmm who have possibly crossed the Clintons. Nothing to see here

  6. The title of this article is misleading at best and utterly false at worst. Clinton is not even mentioned.

  7. 1. Police rarely solve homicides in the US.  You have to be very wealthy or somehow noticeable for your case to get much attention at all.  Less than 1% of murders in the US are ever solved.

    2. Seth Rich is just one more of the dozens of people who have turned up dead when they are investigating or about to testify against a Clinton.

I wouldn’t hold my breath, in terms of this case ever being solved.

  8. Apparently the police in Washington work the same as the politicians, they get nothing done, and they cover for OBAMA and Clinton.
