Acting FBI Director McCabe ‘To Be Fired For Violating Hatch Act’

Fact checked
Trump is set to fire his second FBI Director after proof emerges that Andrew McCabe violated the Hatch Act.

Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe “will be fired within the week” according to a senior FBI source who says the Office of U.S. Counsel’s investigation into McCabe has “gone hot”.

The federal investigation into acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe was launched after photographs were leaked showing McCabe breaking the law by actively campaigning for Democratic Party candidates.

The investigation, launched by the Office of U.S. Counsel, is currently probing whether Andrew McCabe violated the Hatch Act.

Banning FBI agents from taking part “in political activity in concert with a political party, a candidate for partisan political office, or a partisan political group,” the Hatch Act ensures that our law enforcement officials are working to uphold the law.

The Hatch Act is incredibly important because it prohibts FBI agents from engaging in cronyism and campaigning in partisan political races.

At least that is the way it is supposed to work. James Comey’s blatant protectionism of Hilary Clinton, and now the revelations about Andrew McCabe’s Democratic Party history, raise serious questions about the nature of the D.C. swamp.

According to Circa:

The Office of U.S. Special Counsel, the government’s main whistleblower agency, is investigating whether FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe’s activities supporting his wife Jill’s Democratic campaign for Virginia state senate in 2015 violated the Hatch Act’s prohibition against FBI agents campaigning in partisan races.

The agency’s probe was prompted by a complaint in April from a former FBI agent who forwarded social media photos showing McCabe wearing a T-shirt supporting his wife’s campaign during a public event and then posting a photo on social media urging voters to join him in voting for his wife.

“I am voting for Jill because she is the best wife ever,” McCabe put on a sign that he photographed himself holding. The photo was posted on her social media page a few days before the election, in response to Dr. Jill McCabe’s plea to “help me win” by posting photos expressing reasons why voters should vote for her, according to the complaint.

Other social media photos in the complaint showed McCabe’s minor daughter campaigning with her mother, wearing an FBI shirt, and McCabe voting with his wife at a polling station.

Photographs prove McCabe actively campaigned for Democratic causes.

The Hatch Act prohibits FBI employees from engaging “in political activity in concert with a political party, a candidate for partisan political office, or a partisan political group.”

It defines prohibited political activity as “any activity directed at the success or failure of a partisan group or candidate in a partisan election.”

An ethics expert told Circa the photos raised legitimate questions about McCabe’s compliance with the law.

OSC declined comment except to confirm the Hatch Act complaint was still active and under review. FBI officials and McCabe, through the FBI press office, declined comment.

The FBI has said previously McCabe consulted ethics experts to ensure he didn’t do anything improper with his wife’s campaign and that the agent didn’t believe he had ever campaigned or helped his wife’s election. That claim, however, is now being challenged by the former FBI agent’s complaint.

But it gets even worse.

In case the above information isn’t enough to convince investigators that Andrew McCabe is even more crooked than former Director James Comey, new information has come to light revealing that the acting FBI Director was even considering running for elected office as a Democrat.

Here is the memo for you to read through yourself.

But that’s not all.

It has also been revealed that Andrew McCabe had ties to the Hillary Clinton campaign. Newsweek reported:

“Concerns came after revelations by media outlets, including The Wall Street Journal, that a political action committee affiliated with Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe, who has ties to Bill and Hillary Clinton, contributed almost $500,000 to the 2015 Virginia state Senate campaign of McCabe’s wife, Jill McCabe. (She lost the election.) She also received $207,788 from the Virginia Democratic Party, which is connected to McAuliffe, a Democrat.”

WikiLeaks even tweeted about the blatant and opaque corruption.

As did Senator Dick Black.

The revelations raise questions that need answering ASAP. McCabe has no right to be investigating anyone when he is currently being investigated himself.

Is there anybody in D.C. with any honesty and integrity left? It seems that every single government employee has a shady history that is easily exposed. Money and power truly are the root of all evil.

The D.C. swamp cannot get drained fast enough.

  1. The CROOKED LYING LOSER leaves early to get his vacation pay and pension! Most hard working honest Americans don’t have a pension! Money is the root of all evil……DISGRACEFUL, DRAIN THE SWAMP!!!

  2. McCabe will be fired and lose his pension and benefits… then it’s off to jail… he’ll be the first of many democrat supporters in the fbi.. comey… convict! Mueller.. convict! clapper… convict! all of them… bye bye…

  3. He needs to be fired and lose his pension as a very clear example to other who may wish to follow in his footsteps. Going to jail wouldn’t hurt either. Mueller should be investigating McCabe and Comey.

    • Exactly where that investigation needs to go. Kill the Clinton dynasty; all their money and drain the swamp.

    • He did NOTHING unlawful and he did not even come close to violating the Hatch act. Trump and Sessions firing this guy is a way to tarnish him as a witness and that is witness tampering and obstruction of justice as well as treason. Donald and Jeffy may be cell mates.

The 1939 Act forbids the intimidation or bribery of voters and restricts political campaign activities by federal employees. It prohibits using any public funds designated for relief or public works for electoral purposes. It forbids officials paid with federal funds from using promises of jobs, promotion, financial assistance, contracts, or any other benefit to coerce campaign contributions or political support. It provides that persons below the policy-making level in the executive branch of the federal government must not only refrain from political practices that would be illegal for any citizen, but must abstain from “any active part” in political campaigns, using this language to specify those who are exempt:

an employee paid from an appropriation for the Executive Office of the President; or
an employee appointed by the President, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, whose position is located within the United States, who determines policies to be pursued by the United States in the nationwide administration of Federal laws.

The act also precludes federal employees from membership in “any political organization which advocates the overthrow of our constitutional form of government,”[8] a provision meant to prohibit membership in organizations on the far left and far right, such as the German-American Bund and the Communist Party USA.

An amendment on July 19, 1940 extended the Act to certain employees of state and local governments whose positions are primarily paid for by federal funds. It has been interpreted to bar political activity on the part of employees of state agencies administering federal unemployment insurance programs and appointed local law enforcement agency officials with oversight of federal grant funds. The Hatch Act bars state and local government employees from running for public office if any federal funds support the position, even if the position is funded almost entirely with local funds.

The Merit Systems Protection Board and the Office of Special Counsel are responsible for enforcement of the Hatch Act.

  4. It’s Friday and it’s 3:30 e.s.t. Jeffy does not have much time left to fire this scumbag.
But, I suspect Jeffy doesn’t have gonads to do it.

  5. PERFECT! If ever a S0B needed firing, this smug pr**k did. Let’s see how smart he talks tomorrow. GOOD RIDDANCE.

    • He did nothing unlawful. This is political revenge and as a Russian troll you know it. BTW Boris, you had better up your propaganda game because Putin has lots more nerve gas.

      • You are totally misinformed or are just plain stupid. He is likely going to jail. He lost nearly $2 million of pension. He has committed CRIMINAL acts according to the ethics board that recommended his firing. For you to think anything else is simple delusional.

  6. This information is Wrong. The Memo cited says nothing about Andrew MacCabe running for office, only his wife. This “news” site is fake news for sure, with its own slanted agenda.
