Some locals have claimed that the influx of beetles is some kind of ominous warning warning of ‘impending doom’.
This comes just days after a town in Oregon, USA reported hearing screaming sounds which some residents said were an omen of something “bad about to happen”.
Could climate change be responsible for this strange phenomenon? Or is it something more supernatural?
One user pointed out that an earthquake struck the area before the invasion of beetles occurred.
Another user commented: “the end of times is near… they can sense it“.
