President Trump is an “accomplice” to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s attempts to undermine America’s democracy according to Nancy Pelosi.

Speaking to MSNBC on Sunday, Pelosi was asked if Trump was engaged in voter suppression.

Breitbart reports: Pelosi said, “Yes, indeed. I think that’s exactly what his purpose is. It’s to say why should you vote, your vote will not be voted as cast. It’s a tactic that must be ignored. Leader Schumer and I are writing to our colleagues about this very subject that again undermines the legitimacy of our elections, and it’s in Putin’s style, and Putin likes to discredit democracy, ours, or others around the world. The president is being an accomplice in that and what he is saying.”

She continued, “In under 60 days we’ll have the election and have the results, and we want to have people know they can vote and not have to risk their health in order to cast their vote. No matter what the president says about vote twice, everybody should know that’s wrong, and he has been told that. Even though his attorney general again is a henchman of the president in that regard. It pains me to say that on a prayerful Sunday morning, but nonetheless, the facts must be faced.”

She added, “I don’t know what Putin has on the president politically, personally or financially. We’ll find out when we see the president’s tax returns, but I do know he has engaged in these kinds of activities in other countries in order to discredit democracy in order to discredit democracy. And that our own president should be an accomplice to that just raises so many questions.”

    • Exactly. Her actions as well as those of her acolytes, toadies, and stoolies are excellent examples of the dangers of democracies.

    • Actually, the US constitution says only the individual states are republics in Article 4, Section 4.

The US (aka federal government) is a constitution-limited government.

The 10th amendment severely restricts federal power, even thought the Democrat-Neocon establishment ignores it.

      • “and for the republic for which she stands”

Any government that is not a monarchy is a republic. The Constitutional requirement for a republican form of government precludes a state having a king.

      • Thanks, but I’ll take the word of Benjamin Franklin over someone who thinks they’re a Constitutional scholar.

  1. Shes the most perverse person on the house floor .Utterly and thoroughly saturated in Saul Aliskys rule for radicals .Yet always meaning the exact opposite of what you say is also the hallmark of the highest levels of those who practice the arts of deception for those who dance on the chequerboard floors .

  2. The biggest threat to democracy is the Democrat party refusing voter ID. I find it amazing the excuses they use. The biggest one of course is there continued excuse of cost. That actually pretty easy to solve. Check a box on you income tax form to donate 1.00 $ to support people who cannot afford a voter ID. There simply is no excuse for not having a voter ID. NONE. Yet this hag stands here a states that we are attempting to undermine our democracy and yet provides zero solutions except to say it always someone else fault. Look in the mirror you old hag.

  3. Why do Democrats want to start a nuclear war with Russia? Russia is a land power in Europe and Asia and the US is a sea power. There is no natural area of conflict between the two. We should be improving relations with them, not using then as a whipping boy to excuse every Democrat failure.

  4. I didn’t, nor will I need stinkin’ Russians to tell me who to vote for, it was an easy decision! Trump in a 2020 landslide!

  5. How much longer will Pelosi curse this earth? Surely there is a meteor somewhere out there that can be redirected to wipe out Congress in one fell swoop so we can start over with people who are interested in improving lives and not ruling over them.
