  1. I am confident UNC has a morals clause in their employment contracts. This professor has demonstrated by his criminal actions that he is unfit to serve the school or teach students who attend school for an education of intellect not indoctrination into political activism. Parents do not have to pay over $40,000 a year to have their children influenced by criminals who do not respect the law of the land, the political system, or even the simplest, most basic human rights…the right of personal safety and respect for the property of others. This most recent event, coupled with the administrations failure to prevent or curtail unlawful protests on campus resulting in physical destruction of property and endangering the personal safety of students, the administrations failed response in the aftermath of these protests on campus resulting in the destruction of the statue of “Silent Sam” (who wasn’t speaking out about anything) is nothing more than an attempt to promote progressive, liberal, socialistic values by silencing dissenting voices and erasing US history. If you follow sports news, I am sure you are painfully aware that UNC is involved in long-standing violations of NCAA standards as well as US laws. It would appear UNC thinks athletes, coaches, and the school itself are above the law of the land. I feel North Carolinian’s, as well as the rest of the country, should select other institutes of higher learning until UNC replaces the current President, Dean, Board of Governors, and adopts a public policy of adhering to the law, and finally to stop athletic scholarships for all sports. UNC should return to educating young minds to improve society by preparing students to be intelligent, law abiding citizens and stop being a profit-oriented organization of progressive, liberal politics masquerading as a educational institution. For the insane amount of money required to attend UNC, there are many, better alternatives available nearby in NC and across this great country.
