Kids say the darnedest things – at least that’s how the saying goes. But, at a recent event where President Barack Obama visited with small children, he was thrown for a loop when he asked the group of adorable children what they wanted to eat for lunch. No one was expecting their answer: the children informed the ‘leader of the free world’ that they wanted to eat him.

President Obama seems to enjoy his interactions with kids, but they are not always the easiest crowd to deal with.
On one recent occasion, when President asked a group what they were going to have for lunch, the answer was not what he expected. Many children jokingly chimed in that they were going to eat Obama and he responded, “You can’t eat me for lunch!” And when they were asked who wants to be a President, one child stated that the job would be boring.
Obama had come across the kids during his walk with Shanna Peeples, who has been recognized as the National Teacher of the Year.
