CNN ratings hit three-year low amid impeachment push

CNN’s rating have plummeted to a three-year low amid the ongoing, relentless push to see President Trump impeached for doing nothing wrong.

Over the Thanksgiving holidays, CNN posted its lowest primetime ratings since the beginning of Trump’s presidency. Meanwhile, Fox News posted higher ratings than CNN and MSNBC combined.

Dailycaller.com reports: Fox News averaged nearly 2.2 million viewers in primetime last week, including 303,000 in the coveted age 25-54 demographic, according to Nielsen Media Research.

MSNBC averaged over 1.3 million viewers in primetime last week, with 187,000 in the 25-54 demographic, while CNN averaged just 643,000 primetime viewers, with 138,000 coming from the 25-54 demographic.

It was CNN’s worst primetime week in three years, and its worst week among the 25-54 demographic.

The low ratings come as House Democrats have been conducting hearings on the impeachment of President Donald Trump.

Fox News also topped cable news in total day ratings for the 47th consecutive week, averaging over 1.3 million viewers. The network also finished first among the 25-54 demographic for the 17th consecutive week, averaging 222,000 viewers.

  1. Next year at this time CNN will be a cooking show. Home & Garden network has better ratings than CNN. Why would anyone want to advertise on this network?

    • That’s hilarious! My TV only displays hockey and football, but with the preachy, liberal fascist advertising and the guilt-trip pregame ceremonies, I have to make sure I have no throwable objects around.

  2. These 70 year old plus politicians do not seem to realize this is no longer 1974. In 1974 Americans were glued to the tv because “home entertainment” mean’t the 3 networks. Today streams of entertainment are seemingly endless. Not to mention what the Internet provides (like porn). Sorry, the country just isn’t interested.
