Many have speculated that Absolutely Fabulous actress Joanna Lumley and Prince Charles have been friends for quite some time – but that seemed to solidify at a recent event thrown by the Prince.
Prince Charles hosted an event to celebrate the launch of Travels to My Elephant Rickshaw Race and so attendees could view the completed rickshaws that will race at Clarence House.

But the event took second hand to the greeting between Lumley and Prince Charles.
Sunday Express reports:
The 68-year-old Absolutely Fabulous actress was seen rubbing noses with the Prince, 66, at an event today.
Charles held the beautiful blonde’s arms as they lent in for the unusual greeting at Clarence House.
Prince Charles hosted a reception to launch the Travels to My Elephant Rickshaw Race and view the first two completed rickshaws taking part in the race at Clarence House.
He certainly seemed to warm to the unusual affection he was being shown by the TV personality.
In November, a fleet of rickshaws will journey 500km across India to save Asia’s elephants from extinction.
This year the race will be held in the name of Prince Charles’ wife Camilla’s late brother: Mark Shand.
The grieving Duchess and her husband became presidents of charity Elephant Family after his death.
In a short but affectionate speech Charles said: “I just want to say that when this terrible tragedy occ
urred last year and we lost Mark, my wife and I decided that we must keep his legacy going.”
Charles described Mark as an “inspirational” man whose work with elephants in Asia were of “enormous importance” in allowing man and animal to live alongside each other.
And it certainly looks like Charles and Joanna Lumley were living alongside each other with great ease.
