A Yemeni hospital run by the medical aid group Medecins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders) has been hit by Saudi-led air strikes.
An “MSF facility in Saada, Yemen was hit by several airstrikes last night with patients and staff inside the facility,” the group tweeted.

The Haidan Health Center was the only hospital operating in Haidan, a town that’s seen heavy attacks by the coalition. Doctors Without Borders says on its website the organization has been supporting the facility with an ER, referral system and medications.

This is the second time this month that an Medecins Sans Frontieres facility has been hit. On October 3rd a MSF hospital in the Afghan city of Kunduz was bombed by US forces where 30 people were killed
Hassan Boucenine, an MSF spokesman has said that the attacks on the hospital “must have been deliberate,” as it was only two weeks ago that the group provided the coordinates for their Saada location to the Saudi-led coalition.
Boucenine said it was inconceivable that the military didn’t know it was an MSF hospital. He went on to say “There is no reason, ever, to commit a war crime. To target a hospital. There cannot be any good reason.”
