According to a new report by The Daily Mail, “A sniper who was famously filmed urinating on the corpses of Taliban fighters in 2011 has mysteriously been found dead in his North Carolina home.”
The report goes on to say, “Former Marine Corporal Robert Richards, 28, was found dead by his wife Raechel in their Jacksonville home on Wednesday night, but neither foul play nor suicide is suspected. The death was most likely from Richards changing medications he took because of injuries he suffered in a roadside bomb during one of his three tours in Afghanistan, friend Guy Womack said. In the near-deadly attack, shrapnel went through his throat and he nearly lost a foot, among injuries.”
