Declassified documents show that JFK wrote a letter to the head of the CIA demanding the release of secret UFO files just days before he was murdered.
The memo is one of two confirmed declassified documents released by the CIA and obtained under the Freedom of Information Act
John F. Kennedy wrote the memo to the CIA on November 12, 1963 and was killed on November 22, 1963.

The memo says: It would be very helpful if you would have the high threat cases reviewed with the purpose of identification of bona fide as opposed to classified CIA and USAF sources. It is important that we make a clear distinction between the knowns and unknowns in the event the Soviets try to mistake our extended cooperation as a cover for intelligence gathering of their defense and space programs. I would like you to arrange a program of data sharing with NASA where unknowns are a factor.
On the same day he wrote a separate memo to NASA asking for “cooperation with the former Soviet Union on mutual outer space activities.”
It is understood that JFK was concerned about the high amount of UFO sightings over Russia and feared that the Soviets would wrongly believe it was US spying equipment.

The situation was obviously of great concern for JFK, because just four days later he visited NASA at Cape Canaveral, Florida, although the details and specifics of his visit are unknown.
More recently, Jimmy Carter promised during his campaign that if he was elected, he would encourage the government release “every piece of information” relating to UFOs and alien life. Coincidentally, there was actually an assassination attempt on Carter during his presidency.
The recent revelations about JFK’s interest in UFOs have even prompted a response from Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton, who promised to “get to the bottom” of the UFO mystery if she was elected.
“I think we may have been visited already. We don’t know for sure,” Clinton said in a recent interview.
Scott C Waring, editor of UFO Sightings Daily, claims that the CIA murdered JFK and that Hillary Clinton does not have the power to release such information
He said “CIA would kill her before she could, just like they did JFK…… Hillary will be too scared of the CIA to release such information”
