Israeli political forces in the U.S. have launched a media war against the Trump campaign in an attempt to destroy his candidacy due to his promise to bring about peace in the Middle East.
Mark Glenn, co-founder of the Crescent and Cross Solidarity Movement, says that various Zionist media outlets are doing their best to prevent a Trump presidency in order to protect Israel’s interests in the Middle East.
“The very same people, the very same Zionist media that was responsible for pushing America into these wars that have destroyed countries such as Iraq, such as Libya, such as Syria, the same Zionist media that is calling for the destruction of Iran…these very same interests are now whipping up this hysteria in the United States against Donald Trump,” Glenn told Press TV on Wednesday.

Trump seeks to “end the war in the Middle East, he has come out very critically against the war in Iraq, he said Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 and that the American people have been lied to concerning 9/11; who the real perpetrators are,” Glenn said in an interview with Press TV on Wednesday.
“He says a cover-up has taken place, he has said that [Syrian President] Bashar al-Assad needs to remain in power in Syria,” Glenn added.
Trump, who has never held elected office, is leading the race despite the fact that his campaign has been marked by controversial statements, including disparaging remarks about women, Mexican immigrants and Muslims.
Over the past several days, Trump’s rallies have descended into violence between supporters and protesters, and have become heavily secured events teeming with dozens and in some cases hundreds of police.
According to a recent Gallup poll, 63 percent of Americans have an unfavorable opinion of Trump and 53 percent have negative feelings about Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton.
