Massachusetts repeals Second Amendment

Massachusetts has repealed the Second Amendment and ordered authorities to begin confiscating guns from law-abiding Americans.

Gov. Charlie Baker signed a bill on Tuesday allowing police to confiscate guns at their discretion, without any due process.

Dailycaller.com reports: Bill H4670 enables the police, a family or household member, including roommates, relatives or significant others, to remove firearms, firearm identification cards and ammunition from any individual deemed to be a danger to oneself or others.

Surrendered goods can be confiscated for up to one year, with the ability to renew the order, but an individual can try to appeal the ruling.

Baker defended the so-called ‘red flag law’ over twitter calling it a “model for the nation.”

Massachusetts is the 12th state to enact such gun seizure laws, according to Huffington Post. It is also the seventh state to do so since the February school shooting in Parkland, Florida.

The bill also establishes a licensing procedure for stun guns after Massachusetts’ top court deemed in April that banning the weapon was unconstitutional.

  1. The home of public school program (brainwashing), free banking charter and banking in America. Should have guessed.

    • MA had the best public school system in the country… until they established the Dept of Education.

  2. The law opens up liability lawsuits against family members, roommates, and significant others who didnt disarm their family members prior to a shooting incident.

    • Like to see it in the first court of appeals it hits…SCOTUS already ruled on the issue, even with libs in charge, and shot a similar law down in entirety.

    • Maybe those people should secure their guns ! All my guns are locked in a two system gun safe and if you don’t know the combination and also have the key you are not getting it open and only I know the combination and I have the key with the key being locked in my finger print hand gun safe.

      • I happen to agree with this, even as a rabid second amendment supporter.

The thing about having and exercising rights is you only get your full rights to exercise for yourself after you are a *legal adult*…the term “adult” means “presumed to be able to make rational and responsible decisions”…this is specifically why people with documented mental illnesses are NOT permitted the full rights given any other adult in this country…they have been judged not capable of being fully rational or responsible for their choices, so the rights associated are restricted.

This means you are expected to act responsibly and accept the consequences of the exercise of ANY of your rights. “Acting responsibly” where firearms are concerned boils down to “if it’s not strapped to your body, or in/under your hand, it is locked up, unloaded, unless you are the ONLY one who can otherwise access it…preferably with ammo and mags locked away separately”.

Fail to do so, it is YOUR fault, as the owner, and responsible party. And you should pay a stiff price for your lack of responsibility—accept the fucking consequences of your actions or lack thereof…

If you can’t or won’t do that, you are nothing but a child, mentally and emotionally, and shouldn’t be entrusted with any more free exercise of rights than a damned 10 year old.

  3. this needs federal attention now! 12 states are behaving against the constitution of the united states.

  4. A model for the nation my ass, NOT FOR AMERICA! If you want those kind of laws, move to Russia, China or England.
