RINO Mitch McConnell Expresses His LOVE for Joe Biden in Bizarre Speech

Mitch McConnell declares his love for Joe Biden

Senate Minority Leader and chief RINO Mitch McConnell expressed his love for Joe Biden during a bizarre speech at a Kentucky Chamber of Commerce event in Lexington on Tuesday.

During the event, McConnell was asked: “You’re stranded on a desert island and you can only have one companion. Your choices are Joe Biden, Barack Obama, Bill Clinton or Jimmy Carter. Who do you choose?”

He quickly eliminated Carter, telling the audience “we can rule him out.”

Then McConnell also ruled out Obama, whom he sought to make a “one-term president” during his time as the Senate’s majority leader.

“The only thing I didn’t like about him is he had a tendency to tell me to my face what I thought,” McConnell said of Obama. “And one time I had to say, ‘Mr. President, really, that’s not what I think.'”

With two choices remaining, McConnell eagerly picked Biden without offering any comment on Clinton.

Courier-journal.com reports: “Biden and I did four bipartisan deals during the Obama administration. I consider him a personal friend,” McConnell said. “I was the only Republican who went to his son Beau’s funeral, so that would be an easy choice. I think Biden is a first-rate person.”

While they may have a friendly personal relationship, McConnell has not shied away from making clear his desire to frustrate Biden politically.

In May, for example, McConnell said “100% of my focus is on stopping this new administration.”

And in June, the Kentucky Republican said if he becomes majority leader again, he would block any Supreme Court nominee Biden would put up in 2024 and might even do the same for a nominee in 2023.

At Tuesday’s Kentucky Chamber of Commerce event, McConnell was not asked any similar “desert island” question about the two living and former Republican presidents, George W. Bush and Donald Trump.

McConnell previously said this year the mob that stormed the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 during a deadly riot were “fed lies” about the outcome of the 2020 presidential election and “provoked” by Trump, though McConnell would later vote to acquit Trump of inciting an insurrection during the president’s second impeachment trial.

Trump, in turn, has repeatedly bashed McConnell for not contesting the 2020 presidential election results, which Trump has baselessly claimed were fraudulent.

“Had Mitch McConnell fought for the Presidency like he should have, there would right now be Presidential Vetoes on all of the phased Legislation that he has proven to be incapable of stopping,” Trump said this week in the latest of various statements he has issued since losing to Biden.

On Tuesday, McConnell said he didn’t have “any observations” about Trump’s comments and is instead “focusing on the present and future.”
