British Presenter Dropped The C Bomb When Talking About MP Jeremy Hunt

Fact checked by The People's Voice Community

It seems to be a common mistake!

Jeremy Hunt

British journalist, newsreader and TV host Victoria Derbyshire made a mistake as she was talking about Jeremey Hunt.

Derbyshire was hosting a debate about the Tory leadership when she mentioned the then foreign secretary but got his name slightly wrong.

She immediately apologised saying it was “usually men” who made that kind of slip-up.

Derbyshire said: “You say the man you’re backing… Jeremy C**t.

“I’m so sorry Jeremy Hunt. I’ve never said that before in my life.

“It’s usually men who say that so I really really want to apologise. I’m sorry.”

Derbyshire joins a growing list of presenters and others who have made the same ‘blunder’ live on air.

BBC Radio five Live host Nicky Campbell, Sky News political correspondent Tom Rayner, and BBC Newsreader Carrie Gracie have all made the same ‘mistake’

It must be hard being Tory MP Jeremy Hunt, maybe he should consider changing his name to make it easier to pronounce.
