12 Common Core schools in Baltimore have zero students who are proficient at math

13 ‘Common Core’ public high schools in Baltimore have been found to have a total of zero students who are proficient in math.

As part of its Project Baltimore series, Fox 45 has revealed that despite teachers routinely passing kids that fail to show up for tests, children in 13 out of the city’s 39 schools completely failed basic proficiency tests in math.

Common Core is a nationwide program implemented in schools across America since June 2010 as part of Obama’s Obama’s Race-To-The-Top (RTTT) program, which deliberately dumbs down children, leaving them unprepared for education and work.

Your News Wire previously reported that schools across America have begun ditching the controversial scheme, after children’s test results took a significant nosedive and teachers begun complaining about the “backwards method of teaching.”

Zerohedge.com reports: An alarming discovery coming out of City Schools. Project Baltimore analyzed 2017 state testing data and found one-third of High Schools in Baltimore, last year, had zero students proficient in math.

Project Baltimore analyzed 2017 state test scores released this fall. We paged through 16,000 lines of data and uncovered this: Of Baltimore City’s 39 High Schools, 13 had zero students proficient in math.

Meanwhile, digging a bit deeper, Fox 45 also found that of the 3,804 students in Baltimore’s worst 19 high schools, only 14 of them, or less than 1%, were proficient in math.

Digging further, we found another six high schools where one percent tested proficient. Add it up – in half the high schools in Baltimore City, 3804 students took the state test, 14 were proficient in math.

Not sursprisingly, only one Baltimore school replied to Fox 45 with a generic comment suggesting that improvement is difficult and “will take time.”  That said, why do we suspect that ‘improvement’ will also take just a little more taxpayer money despite the fact that Baltimore already spends $16,000 per year per student…which, mind you, is more than many private schools that deliver far better results.

With these eye-opening results, Project Baltimore reached to North Avenue. But no one inside the building would sit down to answer our questions. Instead, we got a statement. Concerning our investigation, it read, “These results underscore the urgency of the work we are now pursuing. We must do more to meet the needs of all our students.”

That work, according to the statement, involves a new math curriculum started this year, enhanced teacher development and expanded partnerships to provide opportunities for students.

The statement concludes, “There is no simple answer that will close the achievement gap for Baltimore’s students. Though we all want to see results quickly, the work is hard and will take time.”

Of course, we’re almost certain that these poor results have absolutely nothing to do with Baltimore’s stellar, unionized teachers and administrators who will undoubtedly get to maintain their jobs and exorbitant public pensions despite the complete failure of their students.

  1. Anyone who has not attempted to help a student with common core math homework can not understand the situation. Even at third grade level, the methods and formulas to come up with the answer is so ridiculous and time consuming compared to the “Old way”. It makes no sense whatsoever to teach our children this method. Kids are simply throwing up their hands, just as we adults who are trying to help them.

    • yep…fucking idiots….. most of those kids shouldn’t have even been bred…the parents are mostly morons to start with.. and should not have bred…most kids these days are accidents,… that’s why the men fuck off and the kids become one parent kids.. and the women become man haters….. Its a wonderful world we live in now…. lol.. just kidding…..

      • With the profane, you have nothing. Just kidding, not kidding, you need help with conveying your message. Try something other than F— or anger.

  2. It’s the dumbing down of the country the elitist crave because a dumb population is an easy population to control.

    • Yes and no, ordinarily they wanted that (since 1806 when Prussian Public School Program starts), and have steadily achieved it. It is now, from the perspective of those really responsible, to end us. They neither want any of us smart enough to survive what they do next to us (and are slowly working towards achieving).

The education results are important, yes. But not the most important part that you appear to have missed, for your comment.
Because what this article doesn’t seem to asked, is “If this isn’t what they have been teaching the kids to do well, what have they taught them to do well?”

Sadly that can lead to some very disturbing results once the full scales of implication are considered.

Common Core is basically ‘behaviourism’, used as conditioning. It literally makes them into ‘agreeable'(follows herd/authority), ‘agreeable to change’ and ‘collectivist'(like antifa and communists).

That lady describes it better than I do (in the 30 or so seconds after I set it to play).
She also goes much more in depth, specifically about the ‘education’.

  3. You probably hit on something when you noted that there could possibly be a teacher problem rather than a program problem.

  4. This doesn’t have anything to do with dumbing down or being smart…1 Corinthians 3 verse 19 the wisdom of this world is foolishness to God…Calculations, algebra, arithmetic , geometry, are all garbage its actually foolishness we don’t even need it…That knowledge came from fallen angels and not God..Its no where in the bible that says we should know those things why? because its not needed..This world is controlled by Satan and the information given to us is of Satan..but what the bible does say is as we get older to gain wisdom once must read the holy scriptures 2 Timothy 3 verse 15 that is true knowledge. They told me in college Science means knowledge lol yet in the bible 1 Samuel 2 verse 3 the Lord is GOD of knowledge see the difference? anything what is not in the bible is complete heresy and foolishness and we DONT need it. we may WANT it, but its not a must that we need it….

    • BS, you all want to keep us dumb and dependent on the nonsense outlined in the bible like mindless drones, the fact that people have become educated and question the existent of god upsets the balance of the church and their strangle hold on the world.

  5. Be honest, most of the kids in being passed even if they don’t know 2+2=4 are black and have no hope of a future anyhow, except for being pimps, gang bangers, or druggers.
